Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies have enabled expanded access to quality education, generating advances in the education of health professionals in the Amazon. This work consists of an experience report on the production process of the distance and self-instructional course “Work Process in Primary Health Care”, which is part of the tele-education service offered by the UFPA Telehealth Center. This process took place between December 2022 and February 2024, in the center's physical space, located in the University Hospital Complex (CHU) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). The report was prepared following the phases of the ADDIE Instructional Design model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Team formation, establishment of partnerships, selection of the platform and description of the production and management tools were also reported. It was identified that some of these activities are not described in the ADDIE model. Although the model was not deliberately used in the production of the aforementioned course, it was possible to identify similarities in the cadence of activities carried out. Possible points for improvement to the model were also identified in relation to team formation, platform creation, production of accessible materials and the roles of the professionals involved.
