Design Thinking no Ensino a Distância de Engenharia: uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura

A formação contemporânea em engenharia exige a integração de competências técnicas e socioemocionais, desafiando os modelos de Educação a Distância (EAD). O Design Thinking (DT) surge como metodologia ativa capaz de mitigar o distanciamento prático e empático no ambiente virtual. Este artigo apresenta uma revisão sistemática da literatura com o objetivo de mapear a aplicação do DT no ensino de engenharia mediado por tecnologias digitais. A busca foi realizada nas bases Scopus, ScienceDirect e SciELO Brazil, resultando em 12 estudos primários após a aplicação de critérios de elegibilidade. A análise categorizou os dados em modelos pedagógicos, ferramentas tecnológicas, barreiras e oportunidades. Os resultados indicam que a transposição do DT para o online depende de ecossistemas digitais colaborativos e da adaptação didática para manter o engajamento. Identificaram-se barreiras como a dificuldade na construção de empatia remota e a “folga” ou “preguiça social” (“social loafing”), contrapostas por oportunidades emergentes como a democratização da participação via ferramentas textuais e a rastreabilidade digital dos processos de ideação. Conclui-se que a integração DT-EAD é viável e promissora, desde que haja um alinhamento rigoroso entre a tarefa pedagógica e a tecnologia de suporte.
