Abstract

This essay has as main goal to promote a reflection about the use of technological resources in education, more specifically focusing on the language class setting, for promotion of inclusion. Therefore, it is highlighted the relevance of technology in the contemporary society, their impact, use, wrong issues concerning them, inclusion, motivation and learner’s engagement, considering the educational setting. For this purpose, it is taken as reference two resources, which can be used by teachers, artificial intelligence and gamification, addressing concepts, models and uses. All of this, with the aim of developing a line of reasoning which makes it possible to understand how inclusive artificial intelligence and gamification can bring benefits to the language teaching and learning.  The relevance of this reflection lies in the possibility to contribute with teacher education concerning the use of these two resources, which can add even more to language classes.
