Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished and is not being evaluated for publication by another scientific journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the Editor".

Author Guidelines

The EaD em Foco journal is open to teachers and researchers in distance education and related areas.

Submissions must comply with the following requirements:

  1. The text must be unpublished in Brazil, not having been published in another indexed scientific journal or book. It should address the various aspects of distance education in the form of an Article or Case Study, and may add multimedia material.
  2. Articles in Portuguese, English or Spanish will be accepted. Title, abstract and keywords must be informed in Portuguese and English or Spanish and English.
  3. The articles should preferably have an extension of 8 to 15 pages of text and follow the orientation of the Modelavailable in the Magazine Model regarding the presentation and formatting standards.
  4. Submissions must be made only after regitering the user/authorin this system.
  5. Signed articles are the sole responsibility of the authors, as well as with regard to the use of images and multimedia material sent as an attachment.

Dossier

Collection of articles related to a specific topic highlighted.

Original Articles

Open submission, correspond to original works containing critical review or empirical or conceptual research results.

Make a new submission to the Artigos Originais section.

Authorized Translations

Relevant international articles whose translation has been authorized by the authors and the journal.

Office hours

Members of the scientific editorial board that contributed directly to the edition.

All subsequent publications, complete or partial, must be made with the acknowledgment, in the citations, of Revista EaD em Foco as the original editor of the article.
